I opened my quilt shop in August, 2005 in beautiful Choteau Montana, just on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. I started my shop in the basement of my home and just before my 1st year anniversary, I moved to main street. I started with about 700 bolts of flannel and flat cotton and now have close to 2300 bolts. I recently purchased a building so have made my 3rd move. It's bright and airy and lots of room for expansion. An extravaganza of color and lots of texture is prevalent in my shop and online. This is Blended Quilt display area. Most of the books for sale are from In the Beginning, the experts on blended quilts.
On the bed is Mediterranean Sun from the Quilter Magazine. Fabric by Willowberry Lanes Full Sun line. The border above the window is a pattern by The City Stitcher. I modified it to hang in a long row about 8'. The banner below it is from Moda's Layer Cakes. I cut a diamond out of each block and faced two of them together.
Hanging on the wall is the Simply Vintage block of the month by Blackbird Designs. It is truely beautiful. Not done yet, but close.
Hanging above is Flowers for Marie, also from the Quilter Magazine and Elizabeth. Both are kits offered on the website.
